A handcuffed teenager is being hailed as a hero after saving the life of the officer booking him into jail.
Jamal Rutledge, 17, who had been arrested ‘multiple times’, was taken to the Fort Lauderdale facility to be booked for violating his probation and other restrictions that had been imposed on him for being a juvenile offender.
But as he sat in handcuffs a few feet away from Officer Franklin Foulks, 49, the officer suddenly clutched his chest and collapsed.
