Poor Yaya Sanogo has been subject of plenty of abuse during his time at Arsenal so far, and not much was expected when he was picked to start against Borussia Dortmund.
But the Frenchman immediately proved his worth after firing home just a matter of minutes into the clash, poking in Santi Cazorla’s pass. Lovely stuff.
It was his first goal in 144 minutes of action (wow), but it was certainly worth the wait and came in a match when Arsenal were without both Danny Welbeck and Olivier Giroud.
But Dortmund clearly don’t rate Sanogo, as they showed by trolling him with ‘???’ in their tweet after he scored.
They don’t even know who he is.
