Want to earn £110 a day lying in bed? NASA needs ‘relaxtronauts’ NOW

It sounds like one of those enticing but dubious job offers found taped to lampposts – ‘Earn £100 a day working from home’ – but NASA is actually looking for volunteers to lie in bed for 70 straight days.

If you’ve never watched 24, and want to get down with all 192 episodes in one bottom-shredding marathon, this could be your chance.

The only downer is that you can’t simply lie there zonking out in front of DVD box sets while avalanches of tortilla chips and popcorn cascade down your wobbling belly: you have to do occasional bits of exercise.


NASA are simulating the muscle loss caused by weightlessness – and seeing if doing aerobic exercise in bed can help, so you’ll have to do a few half-hour workouts in between episodes for your £110 a day.
