Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira has dropped his wage demands to just £80,000-a-week in a bid to seal his proposed transfer to Arsenal.
Khedira’s agent has been in talks with Arsenal over a deal to join in the January transfer window, but the Gunners have been unable to finalise a fee with Madrid.
However, reports in Italy say the German is doing everything he can to make a transfer happen, and has now lowered his wage demands in a bid to push a deal through.
AC Milan, Manchester United and Chelsea have also made approaches for Khedira, but all recent suggestions are that he favours a switch to the Emirates Stadium.
