Reasons why Lupita Nyong'o is Not Proud to be Kenyan: She Hates Kenya

Celebrated Kenyan actress Lupita Nyong’o currently won an Oscar award for a supporting role she did on the “12 Years a Slave” movie, but it seems the actress has been drowned in the Hollywood frenzy in that she more feel like an American than she is African.

Apparently, i have watched numerous of her TV interviews but rarely does she acknowledge her backgrounds on the accounts of talking more about Kenya and the challenges the girl child face in these parts of the world (Kenya).

Lupita might have put Kenya up on the movie industry but is she doing enough to help create a legacy for herself? I mean has she started any initiative for instance to try and educate/help the girl child in Kenya? Has she even come to Kenya since the start of the year to thank her fans where she in fact holds the biggest fan-base in the world in terms of people appreciating to be associated with her let alone the fake/sympathy fans she has in USA & UK?

Moving on, has Lupita even promoted any Kenyan product? For instance, like sporting Kenyan clothing designer products like those of Malaika or Kavemba? If she were truly proud to be Kenyan, she would try to show the entire world the capabilities of Kenya mainly in terms of our fast growing Fashion Industry since it goes hand in hand with the Film Industry.

Even on the distressing hot topic in Africa concerning the abducted Nigerian girls, has she voiced or rather supported the #BringBackOurGirls campaign?

Many may think that am hating on Lupita but in reality am not. I am basically trying to put forth what many Kenyans/people overlook and probably fear to point out.

Nonetheless, its Lupita’s life, i am a ‘NOBODY’, but i have done my job, opening the eyes of the public, and keeping them informed.

……………………………..Peace Out………………………….
